Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) is the national body representing planning and the planning profession. Through education, communication and professional development, it is the pivotal organisation serving and guiding thousands of planning professionals in their role of creating better communities.
Planning and Environmental Griffith Students (PEGS)
President
PEGS is a not-for-profit student association founded in 2007. PEGS exists on both the Nathan and Gold Coast Griffith University Campuses as separate associations. PEGS believes that establishing a strong social network while at university not only gives students the contacts and confidence they need to find jobs when they graduate, it also creates a support network and friendly community for students while they study.
Queensland Young Planners Group (QYPG)
University Representative
The QYPG is both a representative group for, and service provider to, Queensland Young Planners. We also support PIA in the promotion of the planning profession and attracting members. The QYPG comprises a team of energetic and dedicated young professionals who advocate for and support young planners, whilst bringing a fresh approach to the wider Institute.
